G10/FR4 (Fire Resistant) Sheet
Multiple layers of glass- reinforced fabric impregnated with epoxy resin under intense heat and high pressure create this lightweight, dense, moisture-resistant product with high mechanical strength. We supply "natural" G10 (yellowish-green), commonly used for circuit boards, spacers and insulators. We specialize in a premium grade G10/FR4 with solid colors.
In the marketplace, you may find "colored" G10, but it will usually be only the outside layers that are blue, black, red or green. We offer a premium grade G10/FR4 in solid black, gray, red, blue, orange and green with all the fine characteristics of "natural" G10. The sheets can be sanded to +/-.005" tolerance, often required in manufacturing consumer products.
Our G10 is also available with a medium texture, or more rugged coarse texture. The original intent of textured industrial materials was to increase surface area for improved bonding between two surfaces. Halpern Titanium has been a leader in supplying textured G10 for a more practical real-world use. It has become extremely popular in the manufacturing of handgun grips and knife handles. Its high- tech appearance is quite appealing and the texture increases the grip for the user.
Standard Sheet Sizes are 4 ft. x 6 ft. or 4 ft. x 8 ft.
Colored G10 Sheets are manufactured to customer specs from as thin as.063" to as thick as 2.00" Minimum order is one full sheet of either size. Call 888-283-8627 for quotes. (Small pieces of .125", .187" and .250" G10 are stocked for our consumer market and industrial samples.)
