Carbon fiber is said to be extremely dangerous. The MSDS qualifies the dust as merely an irritant to the skin. If you are affected by the dust, simply cover all skin areas. The dust is dealt with using a respirator and/or an excellent dusk collection system. Or. just let us machine your parts. We find the splinters are the most annoying part of working with carbon fiber. Days after a job is finished, tiny splinters continue to poke their way through your fingers.
